Financial Assistance
A postsecondary education investment is one of the greatest advancement a person can make during his or her life . Fortunately, we at RCC have a dedicated team to assist students with financing their education. There are many payment options available to students entering RCC. See the list of some options available.
1.Rivers ( Rivers monthly Financial Payment Plan). No interest.

2. Second Career (financial support): Second Career provides laid-off workers with
- skills training to help them find jobs in high-demand occupations in Ontario.
3. Student Lines of Credit
Most major banks and credit unions offer student lines of credit to finance post secondary education. Please visit your financial institution to find out more information.
4. Lifelong Learning Plan
The Canada Revenue Agency Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP) allows you to withdraw amounts from your RRSPs to finance your education.
5. RESP
Students who have been named a beneficiary under a family members Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP), may use funds from the RESP to finance their education.
6 . Employment Ontario
The Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development (MASED) administers programs, such as Employment Ontario, to assist individuals who are unemployed or who have qualified for Employment Insurance.
